Gyuzal Mamirova - Founder & Breeder
Gyuzal the founder of Abysom Blooming, brings together a rare balance of structure, integrity, and heartfelt devotion to feline breeding.
Before dedicating herself fully to the cattery, she built a distinguished career as a Chief Accountant, holds a Master’s degree in Law, and brings experience from both multinational corporations and the Canadian public sector, including work with Ernst & Young, Johnson & Johnson, Toyota, Sodexo, Huawei, and Canadian CPA offices. Her background in corporate finance shaped a meticulous, transparent, and ethical approach that now defines every aspect of her breeding program.
​In addition to her professional background, Gyuzal has completed specialized education in felinology, including courses in feline anatomy and health, feline psychology, and the ethics and organization of responsible cattery management. This ongoing education ensures that every breeding decision is guided by knowledge, care, and respect for the breed.
She immigrated to Canada through the Federal Skilled Worker Program, establishing strong family roots grounded in education, responsibility, and long-term growth. Her three children study at top Canadian universities reflecting the same values of discipline, compassion, and excellence that guide her work with cats.
Over time, her analytical mindset naturally merged with the artistry of a true cat fancier. She approaches breeding with intention and restraint, prioritizing health, temperament, and balance over quantity. Through Abysom Blooming, she cultivates beauty, stability, and wellbeing - one kitten at a time.
Lana Dmitrieva -Breeding Partner
Lana is a core member of the Abysom Blooming team and an integral partner in the development of the breeding program.
Her involvement began with Iva, the daughter of Fanta and Lager. From the very beginning, Lana demonstrated deep respect for the established bloodlines, breeding Iva exclusively with males from the Abysom Blooming cattery. Living just ten minutes away, she works in close coordination with the breeder, forming an efficient and trusted partnership.
Lana holds a medical degree with a specialization in clinical psychiatry and has built a successful career in Big Pharma, primarily working from home. Long before joining the program, she was actively fostering pregnant cats and newborn kittens for a local rescue organization - reflecting a long-standing commitment to animal welfare.
Today, Lana is a devoted mother of two boys and a dedicated guardian of four cats from the Abysom Blooming breeding program. She plays an important role in line development, daily care, and continuity, ensuring consistency and stability across the program.

With backgrounds as a licensed plumber and a professional IT specialist, Vadim and Dmitriy actively support us in many areas, including:
preparation and logistics for cat shows,
construction and maintenance of the cattery environment,
technical systems and digital infrastructure,
daily assistance in kitten care and development.
Equally important, they provide steady moral support and motivation, helping us maintain balance, resilience, and long-term vision in everything we do.
Together, this extended family team allows Abysom Blooming to grow with strength, care, and purpose.
